Herb Sosa serves as Founder, President & CEO of Unity Coalition|Coalición Unida.  Sosa also is Pubisher|Editor-In-
chief of AMBIENTE Magazine since 2003. Sosa brings over 25 years of corporate and not-for-profit leadership 
experience in the community in the Arts, Retail Design & Management, Branding & Marketing, Historic Preservation, 
and Equality issues.

In January 2004, Herb Sosa was named one of Tentaciónes Magazines Top Ten Latina/o activists in the U.S. and
in 2005 was named one of OUT magazines Top 100 LGBT Activists and featured on LOGO TV. In 2009 Sosa 
received a City Proclamation from Miami Beach – Herb Sosa Day - for his community work;  was named one of the 
25 Most Influential GLBT Latinos by miapogeo.com; served as chairman of the City of Miami Beach Historic 
Preservation Design Review Board; was named one of 5 "People To Know" in Miami Beach by the Miami Herald 
(May 2011); and was part of the documentary The Day It Snowed in Miami, about LGBT rights in South Florida.

JOHN O. BUCKLEY -Vice President | pronouns: he, him, his     

A Native of Florida, John was born in Vero Beach to parents who came to the U.S. from Honduras in the 1970s.

An only child from a large extended family, he is currently a Client Advisor at RIMOVA in Miami's Design District and Bal 
Harbour Shops, and has been in retail over 15 years. Buckley also has over 8 years of Banking Experience.

John believes in giving his time and efforts to build a strong resource for our LGBTQI+ Community that will leave a lasting 
footprint in history.

GEORGE CORONADO | He, him, el   

Mr. Coronado is a native of Lima, Peru, and currently resides in Miami. With a professional background in Customer Service, Event Planning & Fashion Design. Coronado is the owner/designer of CORONADO Apparel & BNAKED mens underwear & swimwear lines.

He brings a uniquue perspective and talents to our board and is Events Architect of the 2022 TropiGALA, part of the annual Celebrate ORGULLO Festival.

MELBA DeLEON | pronouns: she, her, hers

Melba has been a Miami resident for over 15 years, either serving as a superstar volunteer, or on the planning committee for multiple pride festivals, community social events, agency galas, and fundraising events. Melba has been closely associated with organizations such as Unity Coalition, Pridelines, Aqua Foundation, SAVE Dade, the LGBT Task Force, Equality FL, and more. Donating her time and helping others is what drives Melba to consistently be involved in such a major way. No matter what the event is, you can count on Melba to be there to help in any capacity. Even when Melba is in attendance as a guest, she is always ready to jump in and support those around her. Whether its supplying attendees with a cool drink of water, chauffering celebrity guests, directing traffic or serving food at a community dinner, Melba is always one of the first people to volunteer her time. Whenever you see her she's always on the go, and you know its always to help someone else. She has remained pleasantly humble over the years, and for that, we are truly honored to have her support in the community. 

JOEL IGLESIA | He, him, el   

Mr. Joel Iglesia is a Music Teacher at Leoj Music LLC for entry and intermediate level singers, including teaching voice, basic theory, basic sight reading, and basic fundamentals of breath control to help develop a healthy singing habit. 

He has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Music. And studied Music Education /Voice at Florida International University, and Music Theatre at New World School of the Arts. 

Iglesia is also a tenor at the Miami Gay Chorus, and owner of two growing YouTube channels - actor and professional singer profile, Joel actor singer, and Entertainment and fictional fun profile - Joey the Snapper.

Former Miami Beach Commissioner, community leader and successful attorney, Mr. Gongora serves as our Board Attorney of record.
