Also endorsed by UC|CU this year are, Michael Gongorra for Miami-Beach Commissioner, and Illeana Ros-Lehtinen for US
Congress.

"We are confident that these are the candidates of the future. Americans and Floridians especially are tired of the divisive
politics,” says Herb Sosa, President of UCICU. “Unity Coalition will unite behind these candidates in August and help strengthen
voter support in the coming weeks. We look forward to working with like-minded candidates after Election Day."

Sosa also praised Judge hopeful Kuntz whose difficult objective and non-partisan position does not hinder his genuine and
steadfast approach to the law.

This year, “Floridians are fortunate to have two openly gay congressional candidates in the race for the Democratic
nomination in their districts. It is truly historic for us to have these two outstanding candidates in the race,” said Brito.

UC|CU will consider additional endorsements & recommendations in the next few weeks leading up to the 2010 elections.
